If we were to catch up over coffee (or tea - my preference!) this is what I would tell you about my life and business right now...

✨ I'm currently going through a rebrand, which is all very exciting. There's no changes to my business name (I still can't come up with anything more creative that my own name 😂) or my core offerings, but I've hired my wonderful friend Cat (@gattoweb) to create some new branding and design a new website for me. I'll be developing the new website, of course!

✨ I'm in the process of wrapping up my final WordPress theme development projects for 2024. I'm very ready for a break over the Christmas period, but also looking forward to what 2025 has in store for me.

✨ I got a new computer last week and I'm in love with it! I also treated myself to a new keyboard which, as boring as this may sound, is bringing me a lot of joy! It's beautiful and feels so nice to type with.

✨ In my personal life, we're currently having some landscaping work done on our garden. It currently looks like a war zone but I'm sure it was look amazing, just in time for winter. 😂

✨ I'm going to see Nile Rodgers and Chic live next week and I'm so bloody excited!

I recently worked on some website updates for the lovely @kellyprincewright ✨

Cat from @gattoweb and I originally created Kelly's website back in 2019 (time flies when you're having fun!), and while Kelly is still a fan of the design, she wanted to make a few updates including some tweaks to header, footer and the home page layout.

We also updated the travel categories page to make it even easier for users to find the content they are looking for, and added a hotels page for discovering Kelly's favourite hotels.

I started coding 16 years ago and I began working full time as a web developer 9 years ago.

I started off my career working for a company that specialised in creating websites and software for tourism boards around the world. During my time there I developed websites for tourism boards in the UK, Scandinavia and the UAE, many of which were multilingual websites.

After a couple of years at that job I was looking for a new challenge, and what's more challenging than starting your own business?!

I took the leap at the end of 2017, leaving my full-time job and entering the world of self-employment. It's the best decision I've made.

Since starting my business I've worked on hundreds of websites. I've developed websites for bloggers and, influencers, marketers, designers, illustrators, photographers, Pilates studios, charities, businesses directories, wedding rental businesses, product based business, and more!

I've helped many designers ditch the development so they can focus on doing the work they truly love (designing!) and I hope to help many others in the future. ✨
